How long does a typical project take?

Every property is different, so the schedule is built around yours rather than an average. Duration depends on the number of rooms or elevations involved, the condition of the existing surfaces, the amount of repair and drywall finishing required, drying times, and — for exterior work — the weather window.

You receive a written schedule before work begins, and we tell you promptly if anything changes.

How should I prepare my home?

Very little is asked of you. Removing small valuables, breakables, and wall hangings from the rooms involved is helpful, along with letting us know about pets, alarm codes, and hours you would prefer we avoid.

Moving and protecting furniture, covering floors, masking fixtures, and cleaning up afterwards are our responsibility, not yours.

Do you help with colour selection?

Yes. We review options with you, prepare samples so colours can be judged in the actual light of the room rather than under store lighting, and advise on sheen, durability, and how a finish will wear in the spaces you use most.

If you are working with an architect or interior designer, we follow their specifications and coordinate directly with them.

Can drywall repairs be completed before painting?

Yes, and in most cases they should be. Drywall repair, patching, texture matching, and surface finishing are part of the same discipline as painting, so both are handled by one crew under one schedule.

That keeps responsibility for the finished surface in one place instead of divided between trades.

Do you provide commercial services?

Yes. Alongside residential work we serve offices, medical and professional suites, restaurants, churches, and property managers, and we routinely schedule around business hours, tenants, and occupied spaces.

Commercial projects follow the same preparation standards as our residential work.

How far do you travel?

Our work is centred on Wasilla, Palmer, Big Lake, Anchorage, Eagle River, and the surrounding Mat-Su Valley. Projects elsewhere in Southcentral Alaska are considered individually — the honest answer depends on the scope and the season, so please ask.
